Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is made up of two parts. The first is to provide my 3rd graders with privacy shields that they can use while testing, to cover their answers and help them focus on their own work. The second half of this project is to provide my strongest readers with 3 sets of new chapter books. Students will collaborate together to choose, read, and discuss the books that they read in their small group.

It is my hope that these chapter books will provide my students with choices in their reading, as well as something that will excite and challenge them in their reading and discussions together.
