This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school we have a large field that needs some beautifying. I want to teach my students how easy it is to spread flower seeds and encourage nature to take its course. My students are so excited to give back to their community and encourage wildlife to visit our campus.

The benefits of gardening not only create responsibility in students but also helps boost mental stability and overall well-being in people everywhere.

I let students pick out which flowers they would love to see blooming next spring and ensured we picked annual flowers to let them bloom every year!
