Some of the books that we picked encourage a fun reading atmosphere like the "Elephant and Piggie" series, or others like "Unicorn Jazz" are to help teach diversity and how to respect those who are not the same. We are really excited about the book "The Things You Will Be" because it teaches students how to think ahead in life and that what you do today affects tomorrow but that your future is not set in stone. My students have talked nonstop about getting new colorful cushions for our library that will make sitting on the floor fun and comfortable.
