My Project

The future of music lies within the hands of today's scholars and tomorrows' musicians. I love my students because they're a reflection of myself. I was once a young child yearning for an outlet to be free, expressive, & creative. I've always found myself looking for an alternative to my rebellious ways in my youth. Fortunately, I'm thankful for the teachers and mentors, in my life, who gave me a chance to change my ways by giving me gift of music.

My students are special because they exhibit resilience through trying times with a combative, "odd-defying" attitude.

Music is a universal language and truly the greatest of the arts. Equipping my classroom with the proper instruments and supplies can aid my instruction through musical storytelling, instrument association, artistic development, discipline, & responsibility.

Ultimately, music is a gateway for not only creativity and innovation but also higher education opportunities and careers. Help me expose them to a world of music that will change their lives and inspire them to "Strive for the Highest."
