SES is a neighborhood school in a Concord, CA. The students come from diverse ethnic and sociology-economic backgrounds. They come to school eager to learn and I strive to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me.
I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hopeful to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.
My Project
Please help me start my students’ year off right. I would like to be able to provide them all of the basic school supplies necessary for a successful school year. The Growth Mindset Daily Journals will give my students a reflective way to start off their day. These journals will allow them to see how their mind has grown and make a plan for continued growth. Educators know that mindset is the key to success and it is my job to help ensure the continued success of my students. These supplies will go a long way towards making that dream a reality.
