My Project

I love that my students are curious and eager to learn about the world around them. We will use these building materials in the library's makerspace to broaden student experiences, to elevate their learning, and to help empower them to use their learning to become change agents.

We will foster curiosity and creativity, and teach STEM and design thinking concepts.

In the first of many lessons, students will build their own Rube Goldberg machines. We will explore chain reactions discussing cause and effect, force and motion, and examine how mass, speed, and kinetic energy make things happen.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
