My Project

I teach a dynamic group of first graders who love to learn in our daily center rotations. I have been teaching for 15 years and some materials have broken or are well loved and need replacing.

Our classroom needs to replace and replenish some of our favorite learning center materials.

The paint by stickers are a favorite for our STEAM bins. The printer ink will allow me to reprint some of our well-loved center games and activities. The auxiliary cords will replace some of our broken cords to connect our headphones for our technology center. The sand will be used in spelling trays. Students use these trays as a tactile way to spell sight words and spelling words. The colored rice and scoop and bowls Montessori tools will be a sturdy addition to our STEAM bins and replace some broken plastic scoops and bowls. The space figures will go into a STEM center when I do a room transformation for Space week. The voice recording buttons will allow me to record center directions so that students have a tool to use while I am working with a group of students at teacher table.
