Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in K-3 thrive when utilizing centers in music class. It gives them a chance to do hands-on activities to practice what we have been learning in class. They will explore music, play, listen, write, draw, and create with the materials in the centers.

Every student can find success in music centers.

They can work at their own pace, work independently, and/or work with their peers. It is a way to shake up the classroom, in a good way! Students love doing centers, and I know the new materials (including hand bells, crayons, dry erase music staff boards, markers, and other everyday classroom essentials) will bring even more excitement to our music room.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
