Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Many of my students come from low-income families and love coming to school every day. Our school makes our children feel loved and safe every single day. These children have the most amazing personalities and imagination. Our school is big on inclusion so we try to give our students experiences they maybe never have had!

My Project

I would love new toys for my children to play with in center time. We have very old materials that have been used for years and need replaced. I would love the pirate ship for when we learn the letter and sound r. The mosaic creations for learning shapes and colors, the alphabets for learning letters and sounds, and the building trucks for helping with fine motor skills.

We talk about feelings and how to understand and use our feelings the right way.

The journals would be great for writing about them daily. We would also like the the yoga books to unwind and do some exercise with the students.
