Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My wonderful second grade scholars are eager to learn. They are curious, creative, and resilient. A majority of my students receive free or reduced-price meals and ESOL services.

I believe that students are the future, and we have to provide them with many opportunities to be successful in life.

They come eager to learn, full of ideas and understanding the importance of education. Each student is special in their own way, and they all want and deserve the best education.

My Project

More than half of my class recieve E.S.O.L. services. The Multicultural read-along book set will be another amazing way to incorporate diversity while fostering the love of reading. They will be used daily in the listening center. Usually the students have one copy of the book while the others listen. This amazing set has four copies of the book. Four students can read along with the CD individually or with a friend.

The Lego Set will be used for hands-on learning in science, as we create and build structures and take them apart.

The class will enjoy these.
