My Project

I’m working to create meaningful literary centers in my classroom that give students opportunities to practice important reading and language skills while working independently and collaboratively.

To make these centers successful, I need more than great activities—I need the materials and tools that allow those activities to come to life.

This project will help me provide the trays, books bins, and notebooks, students need to interact with texts, record their thinking, discuss ideas, practice vocabulary, respond to what they read, and demonstrate their learning.

Having the right materials will also allow me to create centers that are organized, reusable, and easy for students to navigate. Instead of spending valuable learning time searching for supplies or waiting for materials, students can walk into a center and immediately get to work.

My goal is to build a collection of center materials that I can use throughout the school year and adapt to different texts, skills, and student needs.

Your support will help me create well-equipped literary centers where students can read, think, collaborate, and learn with confidence. Every donation helps me put another tool into the hands of a student and another opportunity for meaningful literacy practice into our classroom.
