Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students will be curious, creative, and eager to learn through play and exploration. These center materials and furniture will help create organized, welcoming, and engaging learning spaces where students will build, read, collaborate, and grow independently every day. The mailboxes will encourage responsibility and independence as students manage their own items. The stools and rugs will provide comfortable and flexible seating for group and individual learning. The blocks and storage shelves will support hands-on learning, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. The reading center rug will help foster a love of books and literacy while giving students a cozy, inviting space to learn together and develop strong early learning skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
