Help me give my students supplies to have eight centers next year, with activities that vary in painting, jewelry making, directed drawing, drawing tablets, and architecture.
With all the changes due to COVID, my classroom is in dire need of a transition, and my art fund is depleted after 4 years of teaching!
My little artists are being weighed down by larger class sizes and I want to bring fun, confidence, and independence back into the classroom!
With class sizes often 30 plus, I am having a hard time as a teacher finding creative ways to engage all students while still maintaining structure. Therefore, I have devised a plan to turn my classroom into a more center-based learning area.
I have planned my classroom to have eight centers next year, with activities that vary in painting, jewelry making, directed drawing, drawing tablets, and STEM architecture. Students will rotate from station to station throughout the year, with some teacher-led lessons splitting up each quarter (such as printmaking, ceramics, and dauber painting).
