Hello, I am the librarian for a K-8 school. Our world is full of hatred and fear that is born from ignorance about other people. In the interest of creating understanding and celebrating diversity, I would like to offer my students a resource about one of their favorite things: holidays and celebrations! I would like to offer them access to the full 11-volume "World Book's Celebrations and Rituals Around the World". We have titles 1-5, now we just need 6-11! The titles of the volumes are as follows: 1) Birth and Growing Up Celebrations 2) Harvest Celebrations 3) National Celebrations 4) New Year Celebrations 5) Spring Celebrations ------------------------------ 6) End-of-Life Rituals 7) Marriage Celebrations 8) Religious Celebrations 9) Winter Celebrations 10) Everyday Celebrations and Rituals 11) Index and Glossary Please help us fund this important work.
