Celebrating SEL and Literacy

Help me give my students access to books, books, and more books. These are put into our Book Vending Machine to promote a love of literacy. In addition, I have weekly winners and celebrations for students.

My Project

My project includes replenishing weekly prizes for student behavior and celebrations. I keep most prizes SEL based to support their learning needs. Celebrations include students demonstrating good character, completing LAS Links Assessments, and showing acts of kindness.

In addition, we have a Book Vending Machine that promotes Literacy.

Students earn gold coins by improving their reading level, increasing reading stamina, and achieving reading goals. We love to choose books with a variety of characters that celebrate our diverse culture. Students absolutely loving earning coins for the vending machine. The smiles on their faces are priceless.
