Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Celebrating Books is about Women's History and Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage months with a sprinkle of some book requests from my students and 2 much needed pencil sharpeners.

In March and May, we enjoy reading about Women in History and the cultures of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, this project gives us the beautiful books to explore these amazing themes.

This 5th grade class is definitely on the ball with reading and writing this year! We are going through pencils like crazy which has put a strain on our beloved pencil sharpener. Our colored pencil sharpener decided to quit after the winter projects and we are hoping to replace it.

The last part of this project is for my kiddos that have particularly asked for a book series. We look forward to all the reading and learning we are going to do in the coming months.
