Having the noise canceling headphones with microphones in the classroom will give each student working on technology the ability to enhance their learning in a multitude of areas. Each day my students work in programs that require oral fluency, but when they record, there is so much background noise it is difficult for them to hear their own voice. The class also will use them to record on apps that we use to strengthen their literacy skills. Students need the opportunity to be able to clearly hear what they are recording so that their learning is meaningful. The students who struggle with extraneous classroom noise can also use the headphones to limit the distractions around them as they work. These headphones will end the mess of the earbuds falling out of their ears and being uncomfortable. To our class, the headphones are a necessary tool for their education. One I hope that can be filled by amazing donors, like you!
