Celebrating Preschool's End and Summer's Start

Help me give my students a memorable moving-up-celebration as we end another school year. Students will tie-dye t-shirts and a receive a bucket full of summertime activities.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The students in my class are talkative, friendly and full of laughter. As our school year nears the end, we have begun to reminisce about the things we studied this year. The students fondly recalled our Bread Study, and how we made pizza and waffles. They participated in an obstacle course during the Exercise Study. Painting with ice was done during the Water Study. But we never got around to tie-dying shirts during our Clothing Study.

As part of our end-of-year celebration, I would like to have each of the students tie-dye their own t-shirt.

When the school year has ended, their shirt will remind them of the fun they experienced while making their keepsake. In addition to the t-shirt, I will give each child a bucket filled with summertime activities, including bubbles, a beach ball, sidewalk chalk, a journal book and crayons.
