Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a wonderfully diverse school in Northern California. Our school has a low socioeconomic population and many English Language Learners. This past year, the majority of my students qualified for free or reduced-price lunch.

My students come to school so excited to be there and are thrilled to learn.

Most of my students have not been to preschool, and we have to work extra hard to get them ready to be successful for years to come.

I love working with this student population and their families. They have so much potential and deserve an equal and beautiful classroom to learn in.

My Project

I work in a wonderful and diverse school. I have students who's ancestors come from all around the world. They are all so excited to be in school and learn. I try to celebrate all cultures, traditions and families in our classroom.

I would like the dolls in our wooden doll house to reflect all of the beautiful different colors of skin that my students and their families have.

These really cute bendable dolls represent families from many different areas of the world. They would really add to our classrooms celebration of diversity!
