Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With these decorations and favors, we will be able to bring joy and musical appreciation to our 380 kids at school as we celebrate the musical contributions of notable Black musicians! We hope to narrate Black history through a musical experience. These decorations will provide the back drop and props for our musical play and soul food luncheon!

Having our diverse students learn through music, will provide them with a universal medium that almost all students will be able to relate to, interact with, and move!

This musical celebration will also allow other cultures to gain insights into the shared experiences and unique contributions of different cultures!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
