Celebrating Black History Month

Help me give my students bulletin board decorations and a TpT gift card so I can purchase resources to help my students celebrate Black History.

My Project

I teach a diverse group of children, including English language learners. It is so important for my students to celebrate each other's diverse backgrounds. Winter gives us a great opportunity to learn about traditions, celebrations, and holidays that occur around the world. I would like to be able to decorate the classroom to reflect each of the various holidays. Learning about different holidays helps children to build respect for other beliefs and traditions.

The Black History Month posters will be hung up on our bulletin board in the hallway and around the classroom.

The Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) gift card will be used to print out lessons so that my students can learn about different African Americans. The storage crates will be used to store books in our classroom library.

Please help me help my students become all that they can be. Their future begins here.
