Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a Title 1 dual language school where my students are learning 60% in Spanish and 40% in English. I have 22 amazing 3rd grade students in my classroom. It is a joy to come to school to teach them daily.

My students have worked so hard this school year including my newcomer student… who has been putting passion into his learning, making friends and practicing his English language communication with me and his classmates.

I want to them and the rest of my class to know I am proud of their work ethics of being an outstanding member of our 3rd grade class. Recently, I was able to purchase sand buckets for each student. I want to use these requested items such as bubbles, stickers, beach balls, scratch art and coloring books as incentives to help my students continue to do their best daily before the school year ends. Thank you in advance for helping me create a special memory using the sand buck and requested items!
