My Project

The end of the year is almost upon us! The weather is warming up and we will be going outside more.

Even our older students can't resist the allure of making giant bubbles!

Now imagine making bubbles is shapes: cubes, pyramids and more. What a fun way to learn about shapes while having fun. Is it possible to do area and surface area on these bubble shapes? We will find out.

Of course it won't be all about the math. Our students love to chase after the giant bubbles and pop them, challenge each other to make the biggest bubble and see who can make the bubble that will float away. Hours of fun to be had while getting outside.
