My Project

As an extension of our Earth Day learning to reduce, reuse, recycle and be mindful of the products we use, students will have an opportunity to engage in popular outdoor activities but now in environmentally friendly ways.

This project will provide students with eco-friendly, non-toxic bubble solution and reusable water balloons.

Students will have an opportunity to use the giant bubble wands as well as create their own wands. Students will then use non-toxic, eco-friendly bubble solution. We will learn about why it is important to limit the chemicals we use outdoors. Next, students will use re-usuable water balloons to hit targets (or each other!). We will discuss why it is important to limit plastic consumption and how traditional water balloons are harmful to the environment.

Thank you for helping me provide my little learners with fun, eco-friendly outdoor activities as we extend our Earth Day learning into the month of May!
