My Project

This February, I would like to focus on the contributions made by famous African American men and women who helped shaped our county. It is so important to celebrate the triumphs, adversities, and sacrifices of iconic figures such as Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks and Barack Obama, just to name a few. I am trying to build my personal library in my classroom so I can provide my students with the resources needed to explore this rich culture. Most of the tools I am requesting are books so all my students will have an opportunity to read, learn and enjoy.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
