My Project

Our sixth graders are finishing reading Red, White and Whole, Rajani LaRocca's middle school verse novel about and Indian American girl who dreams of being a doctor and feels torn between two worlds.

Help us continue our celebration of culture, heritage and food with these (mostly) new works of Christina Soontornvat and exciting cookbooks.

Our students returned to school from the Pandemic asking for cookbooks and they will eagerly dive into these. Additionally, Ms. Soontornvat has done a free virtual author visit that we know will excite students to read her books and we want to be ready with these copies of her latest works and additional copies of A Wish In the Dark, (her favorite of her books) as well as The Tryout (which is already a school favorite).
