Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Teaching in this technology filled world can be challenging if you do not have the proper equipment to engage the students. The camcorder will give my students the opportunity to capture their learning and develop their english language during Reader's Theater.
All of my students are English Language Learners.
They come from low socio-economic homes. My students are motivated and eager learners. They enjoy learning and developing their english language vocabulary . They come from at-risk homes where poverty, unemployment, and lack of English language impedes their academic development. My students enjoy coming to school to learn. My goal is to provide a positive classroom environment.
My Project
Our school community has minimal funds to provide additional resources. With your support, my students will have the opportunity to capture their learning with a camera. My students need to practice their english language development during Reader's Theater. I will be able to record their language development and expression during the re-telling of their favorite stories. They will enjoy viewing themselves. But most of all, they will be excited to share these moments with their families.
The camcorder will capture special moments in my student's academic experience.
They will be able to share these moments with their family members and each other. Your donations will bring positive memories to my students.
