My Students

I am hoping to purchase some basic cassette recorders for my classroom. My students are constantly playing, and want my feedback on how they are doing. Simple recording and playback options help to make that happen.

Our school is mostly free and reduced lunch qualifying students, and the levels of technology that we want to use are simple and effective.

There are over 300 students who would benefit from this project, and they have used this type of technology successfully in the past.

My Project

My students 3 cassette recorder/players and Oboe Reeds. I am requesting 3 cassette recorder/players for my classroom, because they are simple to use, and last a long time. Periodically, I have the students go into one of the practice rooms that are connected to the band room, and record part of a piece they are working on for my evaluation. This process works really well with simple cassette recorders, as they are easy to use, the tapes are still available and work well, and definitely budget friendly. I do use them, but after many years, it is time to replace them.

This project to purchase 3 cassette recorder/players will allow the students to be able to receive feedback from their teacher in a simple and effective way.

The ease of use will allow the students to feel confident in the recording process, and allow them to concentrate on doing their best.
