Cartridges for the Printer in Our Classroom Are Needed!
Help me give my students the cartridges needed for the printer in our classroom so that they can printer their work and showcase their work to their peers.
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they come to school and try their best. I always try to make learning a fun and an engaging experience for my students. I provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students do a lot of projects related to the mathematics concepts/skills that they learn in class.
Students love doing projects because they can use their creativity and it is fun. With the generosity and support from donors, my students received a color laser printer with which they have printed their work out in color! They were so excited and so proud of themselves. But now the printer has been out of ink. Those cartridges for a color laser printer are expensive and the school does not have budget to purchase them for my students.
Many of my students are visual learners. Some of them have not had good experience with learning math before. Color-coded texts and/or graphs keep difficult math content interesting and easier to grasp. For examples, students use the color printer to print various statistic graphs generated when they do projects, and students also use the color printer to generate polar graphs in AP calculus classes.
By donating the needed color printer cartridges, my students can keep doing those engaging projects that help them with learning math. All projects are designed to engaging students' learning and to help students with understanding certain concepts/skills. They help students significantly, especially those who have difficulty and fear learning math.
