Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a diverse one filled with passionate students, families, and staff. It is a school-wide Title I school that supports and develops an average of 400 students.

The school is made up of a diverse group of students from different languages and backgrounds.

This diversity makes our school a unique place to learn and work.

Our mission is to pursue knowledge, strive for excellence, and to model an attitude of contribution and gratitude, both individually and as a community.

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During our independent skill centers, the students will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of different types of center locations. My students enjoy carpet or floor activities the most.

By giving the students a choice on seating throughout the classroom, they are more engaged in their skill practice.

The two carpets that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options. The carpets will allow the students to come together for our whole group lessons.
