The technology you have donated has provided my students with the ability to access an ESL program that promotes learning English, vocabulary, phonetics , and comprehension. \r\nThe new product that has been most helpful with students has been the action-verb flashcards, they allow students to play charades and inact what a verb is. Students have also enjoyed the gel bead emotion friends that help them understand emotional regulation. \r\nAll of my ESL students have benefited from the hands on experiences that these new donations have provided for us. The vibrant colors made their classwork come to life, and they couldn't stop talking about how much easier and more enjoyable it was to create with a variety of new markers.\r\n\r\nAs the students settled in to work, they were equally thrilled to experience the comfort of the new rug. Without your support and the resources you provided to my class I would still be struggling with helping all my students achieve their maximum potential. Your donation has helped me create a soothing more welcoming environment for all that enter. \r\nFor instance, now that you have supported me with the purchase of lamps, I frequently use these instead of the bright fluorescent lights. This not only supports students learning because excessive use of fluorescent lights can cause light sensitivity and eye strain, but it also gives them a calm environment, which leads to accepting more challenges.\r\nIn addition, the purchase of the chairs has reduced the amount of transition time it takes to begin small groups. That means I have more time to teach and the students have more time to learn.\r\nLastly, but definitely not least, the incentives. I got to say that I am truly grateful for the incentives you purchased. This helps my kiddos be eager to reach their goals so that they will be rewarded with an incentive. How awesome is that!\r\nSo from the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you! The student's excitement to see all the materials arrive creates a such an engaging and exciting experience. Here in our classroom we love to create while at play. \r\n We recently learned about Native Americans during the week before Thanksgiving. Students learned about how they lived (building homes , hunting, making toys, tools and clothes) from natural resources. My student's created dolls made from yucca plants to using our new classroom paint to create a mural for our research project (seen in image) at our thanksgiving feast.\r\n Engaging kindergarten era has been a lot of fun. Students are busy learning how to read and write along with how to add and subtract all week long! During some of our center time or free play students have loved engaging with their newest resource, like building words, counting ice cream scoops, or building with magnets. \r\n As seen in some shared images our classroom is busy making memories while learning and having fun!","fullyFundedDate":1727462693044,"projectUrl":"project/engaging-kindergarten-era/8576167/","projectTitle":"Engaging Kindergarten Era","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gallegos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9229515_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1693225288850","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9229515"},{"teacherId":9239994,"projectId":8567193,"letterContent":"I wanted to take a moment to share how your generous contributions have made a meaningful impact in my classroom. Their faces lit up with excitement, and they couldn't wait to get started. The joy and eagerness they displayed were truly priceless. They especially loved the puppets, which have allowed them to retell stories in a creative and interactive way. It's been wonderful watching their imagination come to life as they engage with these resources.\r\n\r\nAs for the next steps, we are diving deeper into our classroom lessons with these materials.
