My Students

My students are kind, fun-loving, curious 2nd graders!

We are a classroom community that is full of wonderful students who have curiosity and a love for learning!

My students are diverse in their learning and social needs. I have students at different levels of second grade academic expectations. This year we are making the transition from online and hybrid learning. We are focusing on building classroom community and social-emotional wellness as we all make this significant transition back into school full time

My Project

Having a classroom gathering carpet that will help us have a dedicated gathering area. Both our literacy and math instruction relies heavily on student interaction and collaboration. Having dedicated a dedicated space to gather as well as a rug divided into individual spots for each child would help my 2nd graders have a space to be all together while helping them understand how to responsibly sit together as a class.

Having a welcoming classroom gathering area will help us as we continue to build a positive and collaborative classroom community!
