My Project

Right now, illnesses are plaguing students and our communities. Each day, the countertops, doors, tables, desks, and chairs are cleaned with wipes. Students also use a lot of tissues. We are running low on both of these items. Since diligently cleaning the classroom this year, I noticed a lot less absences due to sickness. Students have also started to take a sense of pride and responsibility for keeping their desks and shared spaces organized and clean.

It may seem small, but skin tone bandages are an easy way to make progress towards equitable representation in all parts of our society.

My students are excited when they use a bandage and find a color that matches their skin tone. I am also running low on these items. Students really love these!
