Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide my students with a safe place to choose things that they need to address their most basic needs such as food, personal hygiene, and items that create warmth during the winter months. By incorporating a care closet in my classroom I hope to address issues of food insecurity and help students access personal hygiene items. Whether it's a snack for after school, wipes, or feminine products. I want my students to feel comfortable at school.

By having these products readily available in the classroom, my students can focus on learning and creating a classroom community built on mutual respect.
