Help me give my students the essentials they need to succeed! I teach in an economically disadvantaged community, and a classroom Care Closet will help meet basic needs so every child feels supported, confident, and ready to learn.

My Project

My students are kind, resilient, and eager to learn. They come to school each day ready to do their best, despite many facing challenges outside the classroom. Because I teach in an economically disadvantaged community, some students arrive without access to basic hygiene products or enough to eat.

This Care Closet will provide hygiene essentials and snacks so students can meet their basic needs with dignity and privacy.

Having access to these items will help them feel confident, comfortable, and ready to focus on learning instead of worrying about necessities. When students know they are cared for, they are better able to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are requesting things like deodorant, toothbrushes, dental floss picks, fruit snacks, and Pop Tarts.

Your generosity will help create a classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and prepared for success. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of my students!
