Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In an effort to teach empathy and respect to students we have focused on showing care and kindness to all. Students noticed that many peers had hard mornings, especially on Mondays. What could we do about it?

Students led creative collaboration and came up with a care plan!

They want to have a cart with food items, hygiene items, and hand written notes that they can take around campus every Monday morning. My students can deliver to students who need a bit of sunshine to start their day. Acts of kindness will help students feel like they are loved, kind, cared for, and part of a school family. We hope in this way we will create a safe campus that fosterers love and care.
