My Project

My students really enjoy movement and music. They are eager to participate and learn each week during Adapted Physical Education class. What better activity to introduce than Cardio Drumming?

Cardio Drumming enhances the development of auditory (listening) skills, gross and fine motor skills, sense of rhythm while maintaining a steady beat, body awareness, coordination, and following directions.

The benefits of Cardio Drumming are endless. Students big and small are able to reduce stress and negative emotions, find an outlet for self-expression and emotional release, connect with peers and gain deeper self-awareness by inducing synchronous brain activity.

The fitness ball will act as the drum and buckets as their base that students can strike or navigate around during our musical fitness activities!
