Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a Title I school that services the needs of students and families in the community. Our goal is to create a culture that unites families, students and staff through fun, safe and innovating activities. To celebrate the success of all our students, staff and families would like to host a dance. This dance will help benefit the students by providing them with additional activities for the following school year. Many families in our community struggle to find safe, affordable and kid friendly activities for their students to participate in. This dance eases the minds of parents by allowing them to join in the fun. Through this activity students will engage with each other, and staff will continue to build and strengthen connections with families.
