My Project

My students are creative, curious, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and full of questions. They absolutely love hands-on, engaging, and active projects that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. In the heart of the metro, many of my students come from what would be deemed a less fortunate home. However, their home life does not seem to hold them back. My students persevere daily to become a champion in the community, in life, and in the classroom.

The requested materials will allow for all students to participate in a cardboard carnival. Students will create card board carnival games and once the games and calculations are complete, students will host a carnival for the school. With these materials, students will learn probability, both theoretical and experimental, working as a team, leadership, recycling and what it means to be a positive leader in the community.
