Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our band program is dedicated to nurturing the musical talents and personal growth of our students. To celebrate their achievements and hard work, we propose a project to document and showcase their success through weekly Polaroid photographs. This initiative will involve using a Polaroid camera and color film to capture moments of excellence and dedication, creating a visual record of each student's progress and accomplishments.

Our goal is to recognize achievements by highlighting the hard work and success of our students on a regular basis; boost morale by providing tangible recognition that encourages continued effort and enthusiasm; Create a visual archive to build a physical collection of photographs that students can look back on with pride.

This grant will significantly contribute to celebrating and documenting the hard work of our students, fostering a sense of accomplishment and motivation within our band program. We appreciate your consideration and support in bringing this vision to life. The Polaroid camera and film will serve as a long-term resource for our band program. Future funding requests may be made for film replenishment, but the camera and initial setup will continue to be used effectively for ongoing documentation.
