Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the luckiest teacher in the world! My scholars are amazing, creative, and eager to learn. They come into 3rd grade with a drive and a passion to learn that is contagious and inspiring. I am an advocate for their learning and hope to inspire a lifelong sense of curiosity and growth.

My scholars bring a wealth of experiences into the classroom which include struggles and obstacles but also stories of bravery, determination, and perseverance!

I am lucky to be the one to highlight these amazing qualities and inspire them to find their path to success.

I look forward to teaching many more generations and continuing to inspire, challenge, and dream together!

My Project

This project will get us a camera Instax mini and film so we can capture our learning and it prints instantly! I want to use it for a wide variety of daily activities, such as a scavenger around the school to find how we use Math, take pictures of our growing garden and record it's growth, and also for special events where kids can take pictures with their work and take them home.

One of our school special events where we can use this camera is coming up soon-March Mad Scientist Night!

I envision using the camera to have kids dress up as scientists in a photo booth and take their pictures home that same night!

We can also have them create towers, engineer bridges and tinker and have a record of their learning for bulletin boards, send home and classroom memories.
