Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from many diverse backgrounds which require many different approaches to teaching and learning. My students come in every day excited and ready to learn. Our school is a low-income school where every child receives free breakfast, snacks, and lunch.

Many of our students come from homes that speak a language other than English, and having the tools in the classroom they need in order to succeed is very important to me!

Knowing my students come from different backgrounds and learn differently, I want to make sure they are well-equipped with all of the materials they need so that they can all learn to their highest potential and be prepared for the future.

My Project

My students love coming in to learn! I want my students to create amazing learning experiences and document them as we do! Typically, I take pictures of my students and print them out at home to bring to school and we display them in the classroom. When I replace the pictures, I give my students the photos to take home as a memory of what we learned throughout the school year!

Printing the pictures can take a lot of time and cost money!

I am asking for a Polaroid camera so I can take photos of my students and print them right away to display in our classroom! Creating strong learning memories together is important to me and with these materials I can help my students document them!
