Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are immersed each day in our highly rigorous dual-language program. They are eager to use Spanish in classrooms as they intentionally interact with each other in a variety of activities. My Caballeros are inquisitive, bilingual learners. They are learning Spanish while still improving their English language.

Our little school is a dual-language program where my students learn Spanish as their second language.

My students' Spanish is a heritage language, a language spoken by grandparents or great-grandparents.

My little learners are a rambunctious group of curious, hardworking individuals. They have so much energy. My students come to school every day and share their stories. Oh, boy, the stories!

My students, like all students, deserve to have the best to learn. If our kids are excited about the learning that happens every day, it's because we match that enthusiasm for learning and teaching. Please support my classroom and the vision I have for them.

My Project

I take pictures of my students working and having fun every day. I always send these pictures home in our classroom app. What I have always wanted to do is display these wonderful memories around our classhome. I know this builds community and I feel we need that in our classhome. It is expensive for me to print all the pictures I take of my kiddos and I seek your help to provide this wonderful opportunity to our class.

My students will be happier coming to school; wellness and happiness is what I seek for them.

I know this will bring more joy to our classhome. I want my students to take ownership of the pictures they take in class. At the end of the year, my kiddos can take their memories home to keep in a memory book. Thank you so much for believing and donating to this project.
