Help me give my students the experience of creating live video streaming of school events with on the fly multi-camera editing experience. This camera interfaces with both Andriod & IOS devices making it versatile for student use.
Most of my students are from an urban area. They have chosen to attend our public charter school, to be a part of a school whose mission surrounds leadership, rhetoric, entrepreneurship, and debate, in a classical model, with twenty-first century skills.
Our school receives one-third of the funding of traditional public schools in our area of the state as a public charter school.
As a small startup in only its 5th year, we often do not have the budget to be able to get materials for our student's interests as we try to cater to their interests and diverse learning needs.
My Project
Our students want to engage in more advanced video production using live stream options. This camera will provide students with on the fly editing using multi-camera angles with a simplified setup. This device will cut down post-production of videos that are not live streamed in half.
We believe that by live streaming events to our school community and prospective parents will build our community awareness of events occurring at the school while giving real-world experience to our video production students.
By creating videos for our school community and beyond it gives our students an authentic audience to direct their productions at.
