This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in an urban school district with a diverse population of students. These students are hard working individuals and come to school every day with a good attitude and respect for their teachers. The majority of students served at my school are overwhelmingly Hispanic and bring with them a diverse cultural background.

The students and families attending my educational organization are outstanding individuals and creating memories with them is important to the success of our school.

Our school community members are special people and help to make my educational organization a great place to be.

My Project

Currently my students do not have a way to capture special moments with a camera during different school events throughout the year. Capturing these moments throughout the year will allow them to create lifelong memories.

By funding my project you will contribute to my school by helping us capture moments of greatness.

Your funding will be used to purchase a school camera that multiple student clubs/organizations would use to take pictures of sporting events and other events that take place inside and outside of the school. The pictures taken with this camera would also be placed in the student created yearbook every year.
