Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are an energetic group of Special Education and Regular Education 4th graders in an inclusion classroom who are interested and eager to learn. We are part of a project learning school that encourages students to make a difference, think outside the box, collaborate, and create. We work on projects throughout the year that allow students to stand up and make a difference in the community. Some of these projects have to do with the environment and the land around us. Our projects can be weather-related projects, walking around the community and seeing the damage and effect extreme weather has in our community and what things they can do to help improve the land around our school, and ways they can make a difference.

Giving my students a photo printer would be an excellent tool for enhancing their project learning experience, capturing essential moments in their learning, and allowing them to be more creative in their projects throughout the year.

My students can print colorful photos needed for their projects instantly rather than waiting to send them to a local store to be printed. They can take photos and print them when we do environmental walks in our schoolyard and in the community. They can use these photos to document important moments, display their projects, and present them at their showcase.

They also need a headphone stand to store and organize the classroom set of headphones.
