I am the school librarian and technology teacher at a Title I school in Washington, District of Columbia. My students have been expressing their interest in photography and would like to create a school wide yearbook. They would like to have media during our extended library special. I have already purchased some supplies for developing some things for the yearbook.
I would love to be able to purchase all the supplies needed, especially since this a school wide interest and activity.
To have a functional club, my students would need to have a digital camera to be able to take pictures for our yearbook. The yearbook club will encourage students to think creatively and capture memorable moments. It will foster a sense of ownership and pride in our school.
It would be great for the students to capture all the amazing moments that will occur throughout the school year, with this digital camera.
