We are requesting puppets to introduce Arts Integration to students. The students in Pre-K3-2nd grade will have the opportunity to hear books being read by characters in the books via the puppets. I want to use the puppets to help these students to learn Social Emotional Learning through puppet characters. They will get to touch the puppets and I hope fully this will make the students comfortable with learning the proper ways to express their emotions. I also believe the puppets will help some of the behavioral and autistic students to be engaged positively with reading. The puppets are great tool to introduce Visual Arts through various types of Literature.
