My students need number shells, kinetic sand, folders and more to help make their center rotations more engaging.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My children are special because of their growth mindsets. Their desire to learn makes teaching them fun. We often get off subject because they want to learn about so many different things. I do not mind getting sidetracked. I enjoy the fact that they want to learn about something new.
Many children growing up in poverty come from families that cannot give them the kind of support that middle class families get from their families.
The majority of my classroom is Hispanic and they live in poverty. These children are not afforded many luxuries so I strive on making their school experience as valuable as possible.
My Project
The children spend majority of their time at center rotations. This is the reason I would like my center rotations to be more engaging. The Math center rotations will spark new excitement with the number sifting game and the listening center counting game.
The more eager I can get these children to engage in learning, the easier it will be for them to become life long learners.
This group of kiddos are so curious and eager to learn, they will love the magnet kit.The ELA centers will probably benefit the most with the listening center activities on CD rather than our old cassette tapes. The CD's are easier for the children to operate themselves and build independence
