Help me give my students lasting memories during their last activity as high school seniors! These materials will help students decorate their mortar boards for graduation.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After the first graduation practice, seniors will be invited to bring their graduation caps to the cafeteria for a fun and engaging final activity together. By requesting specific items for cap decorating, we aim to foster creativity and self-expression among our high school seniors. These materials serve as tools for them to externalize their thoughts, emotions, and aspirations, contributing to their emotional intelligence and self-awareness. Providing access to these items ensures that all students, regardless of socioeconomic background, can participate fully in the project, promoting inclusivity and equity.
Our primary goal for this project is to celebrate the achievements and individuality of our high school seniors as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
Through cap decorating, we aim to create a memorable and meaningful experience that allows students to reflect on their journey, express their personalities, and showcase their dreams and aspirations for the future. We hope that this project fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among the seniors, as they collaborate, share ideas, and support each other in this creative endeavor. We want every student to feel empowered and proud of their accomplishments.
Our students are special because of their resilience, creativity, and determination in the face of challenges. Despite the obstacles they may encounter, they continue to strive for success and pursue their goals with unwavering passion. Each student brings a unique perspective and set of talents to our school community, enriching our learning environment and inspiring us all. Moreover, our students demonstrate extraordinary compassion and empathy towards their peers, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and accepted. Their enthusiasm for learning, coupled with their innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge, drives them to excel academically and make a positive impact on the world around them.
